In addition to national benefits Wiltshire Council has created a local scheme to support low income households and help them with their council tax: the council tax reduction scheme. Wiltshire Council is proposing changes to the scheme from 1st April 2017 and is conducting a survey to gather a range of views to be taken into account when deciding to make changes or not.
