Storm Henk Update 18 January

{Play}Update on removal of sandbags; general support

We are advised by Wiltshire Council that soiled sandbags will be collected from public roads on Friday, 19 January.  We strongly advise that you do not hold on to them for future use as they are likely to be contaminated.

General Support

We have received some quite different offers of help for those affected by the flood from members of the community.  For example, people with a spare piece of furniture, or who would be happy to offer the use of a spare bedroom for a while.  For those who made these generous offers, thank you!  We're happy to act as 'matchmakers' between these lovely folk and anyone who might be in need of some sort of support - let us know what you need and we'll check to see whether there's someone ready and waiting to help you.

The community at St Mary's Church have also asked us to let you know that there is help available there too.

If you have a problem that you can't resolve please don't suffer in silence.  We can't promise that we'll have the service you need but we will do our level best to match your need to an offer that has come from another member of our community, or to put you in touch with another service that can help.
