Savernake Tree Trail

You may know about Big Belly Oak in Savernake Forest, but have you discovered Spider Oak, Saddle Oak and many other named ancient trees?

 

Just in time for half term, and with Nature putting on her autumn kaleidoscope show of changing leaves, we have published our latest self-guided walk.  The Savernake Tree Trail is a treasure hunt of ancient oak trees.  The full walk is 6 miles but there's a shorter Acorn Walk version for little legs.
