The real story of Christmas procession will commence after the lights are switched on at 6.30, starting from The Castle & Ball and moving along the High Street to St Peters

PLEASE if you normally park overnight in the central parking area in the High Street, help us by moving your car before 8am so that the market traders can set up their stalls

Visit Father Christmas in his grotto at St Peter's from 4pm. If you'd rather watch the switch-on from that end of town, you can enjoy a Christmas piano performance by Kim Emery from 5-6:20pm then grab a mulled wine from Cardinal Coffee Shop to go outside and join the countdown. After the switch-on, Santa will be back in his grotto from 7-8pm.
