Marlborough Town Council
Mop Fair 2026
Ready to ride
On Saturday, 9 October our Mayor, Councillor Mark Luson was invited by the Showmen's Guild of Great Britain to open the Little Mop fair in Marlborough High Street.
By tradition, he then toured the fair and children could ride for free with the Mayor. Our photo shows him with son Beau ready to ride upside down on the Superstar.
Our thanks to the Showmen's Guild for organising another wonderful Mop Fair. If you missed it, there's always Saturday, 17 October when Big Mop returns to the High Street - scream if you want to go faster because there will be more of the scary rides at that one!
We'll publish a full gallery of photos in a few days' time but for now, we hope you enjoy Little Mop.
