Town Councillor Vacancies
Would you like to give something back to the Marlborough and Manton community?
In the run-up to the elections on 1 May our Town Councillors made a video explaining why you might like to consider becoming a Councillor. You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/cqlxXBIbl0k.
There were 16 seats, with 14 people being elected. This means that Marlborough Town Council has two remaining Councillor vacancies, one each in the East and West Wards. The vacancies will be filled by co-option.
If you’d like to apply, please note that the application process closes at 12:00 noon on Friday, 20 June, and candidates will need to be available to attend meetings at the Town Hall in the early evenings of Monday 7 and/or Tuesday 8 July.
To find out more and apply, please see our co-option pack.
We hope you’ll consider putting your name forward.
