The current council term began in 2021 against a backdrop of Coronavirus lockdowns and restrictions.  At the start of that term the Town Council set out its aims for the 2021-2025 Council term.  We've produced a report that looks back to those goals and sets out what has been delivered. 

The report covers the period May 2021 to February 2025: we've produced it early, before the year end in April, so that it doesn't clash with the pre-election period, which begins on 11 March and runs to election day on 1 May.  

This year local government elections include those for Marlborough.  Municipal Council terms are for four years, and in May you will have the opportunity to elect both Town Councillors and Wiltshire Councillors for Marlborough to represent you for the next four years.

We have also produced a civic report, with each of the four Mayors - Councillors Cooper, Farrell, Fogg and Cleasby - writing summaries of their Mayoral year as well as highlighting some of the traditional and ceremonial events that took place.

Paper copies of these reports will be available at the Annual Town Meeting on 28 April, and available from our 5 High Street office after that date.
