Goodbye, Tuppers

Today, Monday 5 February, our Mayor, Councillors, officers and former councillors and officers joined hundreds of Mike's family and friends, former colleagues from Cadbury and Wiltshire Police, and the Town Crier community at All Saints Church, Burbage, to say goodbye to a much loved and respected man.  Mike had instructed his daughters, Carole and Helen, that his funeral should be a celebration and it really was, with so many people sharing their stories and tributes to Mike. 

Ever generous to the last, there was a chocolate bar for everyone as we left the church.  

The flag at the Town Hall was flown at half mast.

Thank you Mike for your service and your friendship.  You'll be dearly missed, and our thoughts are with your family and friends.
