A notice has been published today, 8 March 2022, concerning access to Priory Gardens.

Priory Gardens – Figgins Lane Gate to be Locked

Over the spring and summer of 2021 Priory Gardens unfortunately became the focus of regular anti-social behaviour in the evenings.

In response to this and complaints by members of the public Marlborough Town Council, in liaison with Wiltshire Police, made the decision to lock the gate at Figgins Lane for a trial period over the spring and into the summer, at which point the situation will be reviewed.

Please be aware that from 21 March to 27 March 2022 the gate at Figgins Lane will be locked at 4.30pm along with the gate at The Priory leading to the High Street.

From 28 March (British summer time) the gate at Figgins Lane will then be locked at 7pm.
