They're on!
What a fabulous turnout in Marlborough today to welcome the festive season.
Marlborough was definitely in the mood to welcome in the Christmas season today with a busy market, magical street entertainers, wonderful singing from the BlueBelles Choir and Marlborough Academy of Drama and Dance. Father Christmas came along too and it seemed like the whole town joined the Town Crier and Mayor to count down to the big switch-on.
There are lots and lots of people to thank, and many pictures to post. We'll do that properly next week... you know who you are and we couldn't let the evening pass by without saying a great big THANK YOU for helping to make this such a happy occasion. Our Mayor's face says it all. Dare we say... Merry Christmas?
