July Cemetery Clean-Up

Volunteers are invited to come along and help the Mayor, Cllr. Margaret Rose, with her continuing clean-up of the Old Victorian Cemetery on The Common this weekend.  The Friends of the Old Victorian Cemetery meet for Clean-Up Sundays once a month but this time we have an eye on preparing for the the judges from South West in Bloom, who will be in town on Tuesday 14th.

Taking place on Sunday morning (12th July), anyone interested in helping with the tidy up is invited to come along and get involved. It starts at 9.00 am and will go on until about 11.00. Meet by the entrance to the Old Cemetery on The Common.

Please wear suitable shoes and clothing and don't forget to bring some refreshments and your gardening gloves. We'll bring some tools along but if you have any gardening tools you can bring that would be a great help.
