Urgent Closure of: George Lane (Part), Marlborough
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 29th January 2025, the following length of road shall be closed
to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Openreach to carry out Access to Overhead Network - cabling
to restore customer service.
George Lane (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with A345 in a westernly direction for approximately 80 metres..
Alternative route: via George Lane (unaffected length), Pewsey Road, High Street, New Road, London Road,
Salisbury Road and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 29th January 2025 and are anticipated to be required for 6 hours between the hours
of 09:30 and 15:30. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
