Temporary Road Closure Order
Town Police Clauses Act 1847
IN ACCORDANCE with Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, which section
gives Wiltshire Council (“the Council”) the power to make an Order for roads within its
administrative area to be closed temporarily to all vehicular traffic (and for alternative
routes to be observed) for the purposes of preventing obstruction.
The Council HEREBY ORDERS
On: Saturday 14 June 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 23:30
Purpose: The Parade Family Festival
The part of the road known as The Parade (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with A4
New Road to outside its property known as No.08 The Parade, to be closed (save in all
cases of emergency) to all vehicular traffic.
Nothing in this Order shall prevent vehicles from proceeding in the said length of road
when being used in connection with the event stated above.
