Presentation Day

On Thursday, 16 July the Town Mayor, Councillor Mark Luson was honoured to join happy students and their proud families and friends at the presentation day at Greatwood charity, celebrating the achievement of learners during the past year.  Greatwood is located at Rainscombe Hill Farm not far from Clench Common, and uses former racehorses to educate disadvantaged children and young adults. 

In February the Town Council supported Greatwood with a small grant contribution towards a Horse Power six week education programme for primary age learners with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) and SEMH (social emotional mental health), and this was a wonderful way for our Mayor to see this brought to life and celebrate the great work they do.
