WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 18th May 2026, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out tree safety works. Marlborough Road (Part), Ramsbury; from its junction with From Road To Grove Farm Stichcombe To Whites Hill to its junction with From Road To Grove Farm Stichcombe To Whites Hill. Alternative route: via From Road To Grove Farm Stichcombe To Whites Hill, Whites Hill, Whites Hill To High Street, High Street, The Square, Scholards Lane, Newtown, B4192 Eastridge Crossroads East To Parish Boundary, B4192 Parish Boundary East To Hungerford Road And Bridge In Chilton Foliat, B4192 Hungerford Road, Unnamed Road To Chilton Foliat, Strongrove Hill, Bath Road, East From Junction With Church Road To County Boundary, West From Junction With Church Road To Harrow Farm Cottage, A4 Park Farm On A4 Near Cobham Frith Road East To Crossroads At Harrow Farm, A4 London Road East From Little Frith To Junction Near Knowle Farm, London Road Savernake South East C74 From Little Frith To Bedwyn Common, A4 London Road East From Amity Drive To Little Frith, A4 Forest Hill West To Junction With Amity Drive, Forest Hill, London Road, New Road, Barn Street, St Martins, Poulton Hill, Poulton Hill Junction With Rabley Road East C6 To Woodlands Road Mildenhall, Woodlands Road Mildenhall To Road To Grove Farm Stitchcombe, Greenway Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. These works will commence on 18th May 2026 and are anticipated to be required for 5 days between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
