Wander with a ranger at beautiful West Woods this September

You’re invited to join Forestry England’s community ranger for a wander in West Woods this September. Learn how each woodland is unique and how Forestry England looks after the nation’s forests. Explore the trees of the forest and the roles they play to support people, wildlife, and sustainable timber. There are two dates to choose from, the walks will be the same and are free of charge:

6.00-7.15pm, Wednesday 13 September

6.00-7.15pm, Wednesday 20 September

Both walks will starts promptly from the West Woods car park at SN8 4DY / what3words cake.cackling.sediment. The walks are suitable for people with a basic level of fitness. The walk will cover 1-2 miles on footpaths and trails, which may be muddy and uneven, so we recommend supportive footwear with good grip. Please dress for the weather with waterproofs, layers, SPF (as appropriate), snacks, and water.
