Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Urgent Closure of: George Lane, Marlborough

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 17th September 2022, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to lay Gigaclear infastructure and associated works.

George Lane, Marlborough; from its junction with Pewsey Road (A345) to its junction with Salisbury Road (A346)

Alternative route: via Pewsey Road (A345), High Street (A4), New Road (A4) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

These works will commence on 17th September 2022 and are anticipated to be required for 2 days between the hours of 09:00 and 17:30. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
