Welcome Reception enjoyed by all

Guests.2WRNew (and nearly new) residents of Marlborough received a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the town at the welcome reception held on Wednesday, 21st September.

Cllr. Alexander Kirk Wilson (pictured, 2nd, with guests) came up with the idea to hold a reception to welcome new residents to the town and let them know about the many and diverse groups and organisations that offer ways to get involved in the community, have fun and even learn new skills. Volunteers and Town Councillors were on hand to chat and provide lots of information. Feedback was good and we hope to repeat the event next year - an enjoyable evening.  Read more...
