We are aware that a person is calling local businesses claiming that he is selling advertising on behalf of Marlborough Town Council for its website.

As a government organisation we do not carry advertising on our website and will never contact businesses in this way.  

Please be alert to scam callers at this busy time of year.  If you receive a similar call, please inform the police via 111 or report it online at https://www.wiltshire.police.uk/ro/report/fo/v2/report-fraud-bribery-corruption/
