Welcome Councillor Emily Trow
Marlborough Town Councillor (East Ward)On Monday, 18 September Emily was co-opted to the vacant East Ward Councillor seat by Marlborough Town Councillors. She hit the ground running, signing her formal acceptance of office later in the week and attending her first Planning Committee meeting on Monday, 25 September.
Emily believes being a Town Councillor is all about giving back to our amazing community, using passion and energy to make a real difference to local people and to wider society. She has already had a good introduction, having volunteered at Tidy Town litter picks and as a marshal for Christmas Lights and High Street party events.
Emily has lived in Marlborough for 25 years and cares about the area and its community very much. We wish her well in her new role.
