Make Someone Welcome

{Play}Let's celebrate kindness within the Marlborough Community

A few weeks ago Matt Stabb, a User Engagement Peer Link Worker from Wiltshire Centre for Independent Living called in to our High Street office with Personal Assistant Saffron and Councillor Jane Davies.  They introduced themselves to the Town Clerk and talked about how Marlborough might be able to support the #MakeSomeoneWelcome campaign. It got us thinking about how we could make small changes in our own offices to be more welcoming.

Make Someone Welcome is a campaign which celebrates the kindness within our community and aims to get people from all walks of life connected in our community.

Any community group or business, big or small, can sign up and get involved.  All you need to do is make a pledge to #MakeSomeoneWelcome.  Marlborough Town Councillors will be discussing this campaign at the Full Council meeting on 12 December, so watch this space!

If you'd like a toolkit, to sign up or more information, contact the WCIL User Engagement Team on 0300 1233 442, or email userengagement@wiltshirecil.org.uk
