{Play}We're sorry to report that as a result of deliberate vandalism the basket swing has been removed and won't be back until September.

Unfortunately sometime between Tuesday, 28 June and Wednesday, 29 June the safety surface immediately beneath the recently repaired basket swing has been deliberately pulled up.

Due to the surface damage resulting in the lack of a safe surface below the swing, as well as being a trip hazard, we have had to take the difficult decision to remove the basket swing once again until the repair has been carried out.  Our manufacturer is unable to repair the surface until September.

We're very sorry to be the bearers of bad news: this is the fourth time this year where there has been damage at this lovely play area with disappointed families as well as a cost to Marlborough tax payers every time. 

Anyone with information about how this, or previous incidents, of deliberate damage occurred at this play area is asked to report it to Wiltshire Police on 101 quoting reference 54220067563, or anonymously via CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
