On Thursday, 16 June our Mayor, Councillor Lisa Farrell held a reception in the Town Hall so that she could say thank you in person to everyone who contributed to making Marlborough's Platinum Jubilee events such a success.  She also got a lovely surprise from Daniel Claridge, who presented her with a cheque for the Mayor's Charities raised during the Parade Festival by a 'guess the number of balloons' competition.

If you were unable to attend here's a video that we compiled from some of the photos we took or which were shared with us by residents: it really shows just how much went on in our town over those busy few days and how much work you all put into it.  Grab a cuppa though, it is 17 minutes long!
