COVID VACCINATION PROGRAMME UPDATE
Future Clinic Dates:(by appointment only)
2nd dose Pfizer– Saturday 15th May
2nd dose AstraZeneca– Saturday 22nd May
1st Dose Astra Zeneca– June (date tbc)
You do not need to call us to make your appointment, KAMP have a highly organised team making sure we call or text you when your vaccine is due. The NHS.UK website includes details of who is currently eligible.
Important message for those with appointments: There are many hundreds of people coming for their vaccine on the above dates. If at all possible, please walk to the clinic or park elsewhere. To avoid having to queue, please come at your allotted time and don’t be early!

15 FEBRUARY:

COVID VACCINE STATUS.
KAMP are currently booking appointments for those in priority Group 6- those aged 16-64year olds with underlying health conditions as defined by NHS England. Those in this cohort will be contacted by the surgery to book their appointment.
Patients in priority group 5, the 65-69 year olds are encouraged to book into the mass vaccination centres and pharmacies - this group will shortly receive a letter from NHS England with details of how to book.

Thanks again to all KAMP staff and volunteers as well as the staff of Marlborough Leisure Centre who gave up their Saturday last weekend
to ensure the smooth running of our first vaccination clinic to be held there. A total of 6 vaccinators, together with administrators and "crowd control" enabled KAMP to meet Government targets by vaccinating all of our over 70s and the clinically extremely vulnerable. Thank you to all who came for their vaccination for being so co-operative and good humoured!

10 FEBRUARY: CALLING ALL OVER 70S and THOSE WHO HAVE HAD A SHIELDING LETTER THIS YEAR- if you have not had your first COVID vaccination, please call the Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership to book an appointment. East Kennet Primary Care Network are holding a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Marlborough Leisure Centre on Saturday 13 February. There are vacancies in this clinic for patients who are over 70 or extremely clinically vulnerable by appointment only. Please call 01672 512187 to book.
