An update on the Post Office
We have been notified that the Post Office based at the One Stop at 33 High Street has closed until 24 December due to a member of staff testing positive for COVID19 and colleagues being required to self isolate.
During the closure, it’s good news that the One Stop till at the front of the store will still be offering most Post Office services - for example, you can collect your pension, purchase books of stamps or hand over your passport application but, please note that staff are unable to deal with post (collecting or sending parcels). You can send parcels using Royal Mail Click & Drop at https://send.royalmail.com/ with four options:
Drop your item off in a Postbox or Parcel Postboxes
Take your item to a Post Office
Take your item and pre-printed label or QR code to a Royal Mail Delivery Office
Arrange to have your item collected from your home or workplace with Parcel Collect
