In the last 2 weeks, more than 200 local people have stepped forward answering our call for community volunteers to help our elderly and vulnerable residents as Marlborough comes together to protect its community and beat Coronavirus.  Absolutely fantastic!

The town has been split into 16 zones, each with a lead coordinator working with other volunteers to cover their neighbourhoods. 

Our amazing volunteers have been out and about delivering special contact cards to every household.  With almost 4,000 properties in town, this has been quite a task and we may have missed some along the way, so if you haven’t received one please don’t worry, just let us know and we will put you in contact with a volunteer who can help you with essential shopping, collecting prescriptions, walking dogs or just being available at the end of a phone. 

A huge thank you to the team of volunteers covering each of these zones who have attended to well over 100 requests for help already.  For the volunteers who have signed up to help but have yet to be called on, your help may still be needed as the weeks roll on and requests increase.  Please bear with us.
