The Town Council has submitted an application to include Marlborough (with Manton), Mildenhall, Preshute and Savernake as our Neighbourhood Area. The Steering Group is made up of volunteers from the community and representatives from various organisations who have been working hard towards this first stage in the process of producing a Neighbourhood Plan which will have real influence on planning issues in the years to come. To comment on the application just log on to Wiltshire Council's consultation portal at http://consult.wiltshire.gov.uk/portal. This runs to 24th February.
