Battle of Marlborough
The Civil War Re-enactment on the Common and the Living History display in Priory Gardens were successful events and were well received in the town. It was wonderful to see so many of the re-enactors out in costume on the High Street, transporting us back to the 17th century. Our thanks go to the English Civil War Society for staging such a magnificent event and to those who helped support it - Wiltshire Council, Hills and Marlborough History Society.
