The North Wessex Downs Walking Festival 2023

Welcome to this year’s Walking Festival and once again we are excited to present a varied programme of walks across the North Wessex Downs.

This year we have 27 walks on offer across the AONB – north to south, east to west – with opportunities to seek out wildlife or history, visit a working farm or simply soak up the views from the top of the downs. Join our knowledgeable and welcoming guides and explore more of this protected landscape as they bring alive some of their favourite places in the North Wessex Downs.

Our family friendly events at Cocklebury Farm, Savernake Forest and Marlborough provide great opportunities to get younger children outside and learning about the natural world. Please check the detailed walk information, which gives clear information regarding suitability for different age ranges.
