What’s happening 
on site

Most of the ground works and 
excavations are completed so 
you should notice a reduction 
in the number of large trucks in 
and out of the estate. 

The first piling works have been 
completed, with the next set 
due to start week commencing 
9 August and to last for around 
10 days. We used a sound 
dampener during the first set of 
works to help reduce the noise 
for local residents and plan to 
use this for future works.

Work is also starting on the 
public open spaces, as well as 
the show homes, and we will 
keep you updated on progress.


New homes on the way

GreenSquare Homes has permission to build 39 homes 
at Hawthorn Meadow – a mix of affordable rent, shared 
ownership and sale, with expected completion in Autumn 
2022. As part of the development we are also providing 
a new play area with equipment plus a large green space, 
both of which will be gifted to Marlborough Town Council 
when completed.

Site safety

All households should have received a 
site safety leaflet back in May. Please 
make sure you talk to children in your 
household about the dangers of playing 
on a building site and ask them to keep 
away. If you see anyone access the site 
who shouldn’t be there please ring 101, 
or if they are in immediate danger, 999.

Following a recent incident on site 
involving a local resident, we would 
like to remind you that GreenSquare 
Homes will not tolerate any abusive 
or violent behaviour towards our staff 
and contractors. We will take 
appropriate action and always 
report offenders to the police.
