CORONATION CLEAN-UP
28 March to 6 April
Coronation Clean-Up
Loathe litter? Groaning at graffiti? Disheartened by dirt? Us too!
The Town Council’s grounds team, Wiltshire Council, idVerde contractors and shops and businesses do an amazing job emptying overflowing litter bins, sweeping pavements and caring for our open spaces but they can’t keep a whole town clean on their own.
More than ever before, residents are contacting us to say they’re fed up with the sight of graffiti and litter around the town. So we're appealing to residents, schools, partners and businesses to join forces with us to create “Super Clean Teams” to clean up Marlborough and Manton ahead of the Coronation of King Charles III on 6 May. We’ll be removing graffiti, picking up litter and generally sweeping, weeding and tidying our town.

For any of the above, please contact Clare Harris - send her an email or call us on 01672 512487 and let us know which event you'd like to join; ask for kit if you'd like help to arrange your own litter pick, or to tell us which areas you think need some love and attention to make Marlborough and Manton "Fit for a King".
