Coronation Clean-Up

 Loathe litter? Groaning at graffiti? Disheartened by dirt?  Us too!

The Town Council’s grounds team, Wiltshire Council, idVerde contractors and shops and businesses do an amazing job emptying overflowing litter bins, sweeping pavements and caring for our open spaces but they can’t keep a whole town clean on their own.

More than ever before, residents are contacting us to say they’re fed up with the sight of graffiti and litter around the town.  So we're appealing to residents, schools, partners and businesses to join forces with us to create “Super Clean Teams” to clean up Marlborough and Manton ahead of the Coronation of King Charles III on 6 May. We’ll be removing graffiti, picking up litter and generally sweeping, weeding and tidying our town.

DIY

Would you prefer to organise your own family, business or community litter pick, perhaps even on the day of the Big Help Out?

We can provide the litter pickers, hoops, bags and hi-viz tabards, and we'll collect the full bags when you finish.

HOTSPOTS

Is there a litter or graffiti hot spot you'd like us to tackle?
We can't promise to include them all (we may need permission of the landowner or a utility company for example) but we'll do our best!
